Setting Up an Execution Monitoring Board – BRTK
Hasan Taçoy, the Chairman Candidate of the National Unity Party (UBP), has unveiled his plans for addressing the issue of unkept promises in politics with the introduction of an “Implementation Follow-up Board.”
In a recent statement, Taçoy emphasized the importance of taking action instead of just making empty promises. He highlighted that the most common complaint from the public is the failure of politicians and governments to deliver on their commitments.
Taçoy announced that if elected, he would establish an Implementation Follow-up Board that would be responsible for monitoring the progress of government projects and ensuring that actions are carried out effectively. This board will be directly linked to the Prime Ministry to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation process.
“We will not make promises that we cannot keep. The Turkish Cypriot people deserve to see tangible results from their government, and we are committed to fulfilling our promises, no matter how long it takes,” stated Taçoy.
The Implementation Follow-up Board will track government projects and actions on a daily basis, providing accurate data to the government to ensure that commitments are met. Taçoy reiterated his promise to prioritize action over words and to restore the public’s trust in their leaders.
With the introduction of the Implementation Follow-up Board, Taçoy aims to bring about a new era of accountability and effectiveness in government, where promises are kept and progress is made for the benefit of the people.
