Severe Weather Alert: Yellow Coded Torrential Warning from Meteorology

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a weather warning for several regions in Turkey. According to their estimates, parts of Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, South and West of Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea, Central Black Sea, Samsun, Sinop, Ordu, Ardahan, Erzincan, Erzurum, Kilis, Adiyaman, and Gaziantep will experience partly cloudy and very cloudy conditions.

Rainfall is expected in the Aegean and Western Mediterranean regions, as well as in Eskişehir and the western districts of Balıkesir with strong intensity. Strong winds are also forecasted in the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia regions, with speeds ranging from 40-70 km/h.

Temperatures are expected to increase by 3 to 5 degrees in the eastern parts of the country, while no significant change is anticipated in other areas. Additionally, a dust transportation phenomenon is expected in the west of the Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia.

A strong rainfall warning has been issued for the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Eskişehir, and western Balıkesir regions, advising the public to exercise caution.

Similarly, a strong wind warning has been issued for the west of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions. The public is urged to be vigilant and cautious in the face of potential negative effects of the strong winds.
