Severe Weather Causes Numerous Sea Voyage Cancellations
Adverse Weather Conditions Disrupt Maritime Transportation
As storms and rain continue to affect many parts of the country, adverse weather conditions have also caused disruptions in maritime transportation. Several flights scheduled for today have been cancelled, impacting both Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) and Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO).
According to the information provided on the Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) website, several sailings have been cancelled, including routes from Bursa to Armutlu, Armutlu Holiday Village, Yenikapı, and Kadıköy.
Similarly, the cancelled sailings of Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) include routes between Bursa (Mudanya) and Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci), as well as other destinations in the area.
Additionally, ferry services planned to be held in the Northern Aegean have also been cancelled. Gestaş company, which provides sea transportation between the Dardanelles and the Islands line, announced that several scheduled ferry services to Gökçeada and Bozcaada districts have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
All scheduled flights for the Geyikli-Bozcaada, Kabatepe-Gökçeada, and Narlı-Marmara lines were cancelled. Moreover, on the South Marmara Islands line, several flights have been cancelled, except for those to Erdek from Avşa, Marmara, and Paşalimanı (Balıklı) at specific times.
