Shooting Activities to Take Place in Güzelyurt Region
Shooting activities will be conducted against land targets with air defense weapons in the Çamurova shooting area located in the Güzelyurt region. The Güzelyurt District Governor, Savaş Orakçıoğlu, has announced that the shooting days will be between 28 October – 1 November from 08.00 to 18.00.
The designated shooting area will be between Kum Tepe and Başak location line, Kumköy Helicopter Pad-Yayla line, Başak location Yayla line and Kum Tepe Kumköy Helicopter Pad. It is crucial that individuals do not enter this line during the specified times for the safety of life and property.
Orakçıoğlu emphasized that the region will be declared a “restricted zone” during the designated days and hours, and entry into the area will be prohibited until a free entry announcement is made.
