Shower and Snow Warning: Meteorology Issues Alert for Tonight and Tomorrow
The Turkish General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that the country will experience partial and very cloudy conditions in various regions. These include the east of Marmara, Eastern Mediterranean (except Mersin), northeast of Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Malatya and Kars), Southeastern Anatolia, and Çankırı. Additionally, it is predicted that Artvin, Gümüşhane, and Bayburt will experience rainfall.
The forecast also predicts rain and showers in coastal areas and Southeastern Anatolia, and sleet and snow in other places. Central and eastern parts of the country are expected to experience icing, frost, occasional haze, and fog. Moreover, there is a risk of avalanches in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region, as well as in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
Temperature-wise, a moderate increase of 2 to 4 degrees is anticipated in northwestern parts of the country, with no significant change expected elsewhere. The wind is predicted to blow from the south and southwest directions, occasionally moderately strong.

– Ankara: Partly and very cloudy with a high of 6°C
– Istanbul: Partly and very cloudy, with rain expected on the Anatolian side in the evening, with a high of 12°C
– Izmir: Partly cloudy and slightly cloudy, with a high of 14°C
– Adana: Partly and very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the morning and at noon, with a high of 16°C
– Antalya: Partly cloudy, with a high of 17°C
– Samsun: Partly and very cloudy, with rain expected at night, with a high of 13°C
– Trabzon: Partly and very cloudy, with a high of 12°C
– Erzurum: Partly and very cloudy, with snowfall expected at noon and night, with a high of -2°C
– Diyarbakır: Partly and very cloudy, with intermittent rain and some sleet in the northern areas, with a high of 6°C
