Sibergöz39 Operation leads to 74 detentions across 20 provinces
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya has revealed the results of the recent “Cybereye-39” operations conducted by the Gendarmerie in 20 provinces. A total of 74 suspects have been apprehended for various crimes including “Illegal Betting, Qualified Fraud, Qualified Theft and Online Child Obscenity.”
The operations, aimed at cracking down on cyber crimes, were successful in capturing individuals involved in illegal activities online. Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of combatting such crimes to ensure the safety and security of internet users, especially children who may be targeted by online predators.
