Siirt Elections 2023: When Will May 14th Results and Voter Turnout Be Announced?
Turkey is preparing for the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary elections set to take place on May 14, 2023. As the nation awaits the election results, many people are curious about the timing of the Siirt election results. According to Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), a total of 64 million 113 thousand 941 voters, 60 million 697 thousand 843 of whom are domestic, will cast their votes in the Presidential and Deputy Elections.
The voting will take place between 08:00-17:00. It will be forbidden to make news predictions and comments on the elections and their results in the media until 18:00. Between 18:00 and 21:00, the news and communiques regarding the election will be published by the YSK. After 21:00, all broadcasts will be free for the YSK to announce the results, but this time may be set earlier.
The temporary results of the presidential election will be announced until 23:59. If there is a delay in announcing the provisional results, the election calendar for candidate replacement will be adjusted accordingly. In case the absolute majority of the valid votes cannot be achieved in the first ballot, the second vote of the presidential election, to be held on Sunday, May 28, will come into effect.
