Siirt leads the way in honey production in Turkey
According to recent data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the province of Siirt has experienced a significant increase in honey production. The Governor of Siirt expressed gratitude to various entities, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Siirt Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Special Provincial Administration, Provincial General Assembly, Beekeepers, and Honey Producers, for their contributions to this success.
The ultimate goal is for Siirt to become one of the top three honey producers in Turkey and to establish the brand value of Pervari honey both domestically and internationally. With this newfound success in the beekeeping sector, Siirt is on track to solidify its position as a key player in the industry.
