
Şırnak Provincial Health Director Suat Altın Dies from Heart Attack

The health community in Şırnak, Turkey is mourning the loss of Provincial Health Director Expert Dr. Suat Altın, who passed away after suffering a heart attack. The tragic news was announced by Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca on social media.
The 41-year-old Dr. Altın had a heart attack in the evening while in the hotel room he used as his residence. Despite being rushed to Şırnak State Hospital by medical teams, he could not be saved. His body was taken to the morgue for autopsy, and local officials, including Governor Cevdet Atay, Mayor Mehmet Yarka, and AK Party Şırnak Deputy Arslan Tatar, arrived at the hospital to receive information from authorities.
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca expressed his condolences on social media, saying, “Our Şırnak Provincial Health Director, Specialist. Dr. Suat Altın was taken to the hospital as a result of his sudden illness, and despite intense efforts, he could not be saved and died. May God have mercy on our colleague; I offer my condolences to his family, loved ones, and our community.”
