Six additional suspects apprehended in connection with Kartalkaya hotel fire
The investigation into the fire at Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu continues, with 11 more individuals being detained and referred to court after gendarmerie procedures. Out of the total suspects, 6 have been arrested by the judiciary while 5 were released on condition of judicial control. This brings the total number of arrests in connection to the incident to 15. Among those still being investigated are Bolu Deputy Mayor Sedat Gülener and Fire Department Deputy Director Kenan Coşkun. The owner of Grand Kartal Hotel, Halit Ergül, along with other key staff members, have been arrested and released on condition of judicial control. The investigation aims to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the fire that occurred on January 21 at the hotel.
