
Six Super League Clubs Penalized by PFDK

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced fines for several football clubs after incidents during recent matches. Fenerbahçe has been fined a total of 312 thousand liras for field incidents caused by its fans and statements made about the referee and other match officials. Additionally, the club’s managers, Can Gebetaş and Selahattin Baki, have been fined 200 thousand liras each for their comments about the officials.
Galatasaray has also been fined 340 thousand liras for similar reasons, with the club’s manager, Erden Timur, receiving a 200 thousand lira fine for his statements regarding the match officials. However, no penalty was imposed on the club’s president, Dursun Özbek. Beşiktaş, Gaziantep, Pendikspor, and MKE Ankaragücü have also received fines for incidents involving their fans.
In addition to monetary fines, electronic card blocking penalties have been imposed on several clubs for their fans’ behavior during matches. Gaziantep FK, Siltaş Yapı Pendikspor, and MKE Ankaragücü will all face card blocking penalties in their next matches.
The TFF’s actions come as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain fair play and sportsmanship in Turkish football. The fines and penalties are aimed at addressing incidents of misconduct and promoting a positive environment for players, officials, and fans alike.
