Slovenian President Identifies Potential Collaboration Opportunities with Kazakhstan
Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar recently visited Kazakhstan and met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to discuss potential areas of partnership between the two countries. During her visit, several key areas were highlighted, including artificial intelligence, tourism, water management, and green agendas. Pirc Musar emphasized the importance of a healthy business environment and signed three memorandums during her stay in Astana, with more in progress.
In addition to her official meetings, Pirc Musar also delivered a guest lecture at Nazarbayev University, where she addressed global issues such as peacebuilding policies, water resources, human rights protection, environmental preservation, artificial intelligence, and gender equality. She stressed the importance of gender justice and shared insights into Slovenia’s efforts to promote women’s rights and representation in leadership positions.
President Tokayev welcomed Pirc Musar’s visit and highlighted the exceptional prospects it brings for deepening and expanding the Kazakh-Slovenian partnership. The upcoming business forum will focus on transportation and logistics, pharmaceuticals, green energy, water resources, and telecommunications. During her visit, Pirc Musar also expressed her admiration for singer Dimash Qudaibergen and attended one of his concerts, where he performed traditional Kazakh folk songs.
