The Czech Smartwings Group’s Hungarian subsidiary, Smartwings Hungary, has announced the addition of several new routes for the upcoming 2025 summer schedule. According to the Aeroroutes timetable analysis website, the airline will be introducing flights to Almería and Bodrum from Budapest, as well as Barcelona and Tirana from Debrecen.

From Budapest, Smartwings Hungary will operate flights to Almería in Spain once a week from late May to early October. There will be an increased frequency of two weekly flights (Mondays and Saturdays) between June and September. Additionally, the airline will fly to Bodrum in Turkey once a week on Wednesdays from June to September.

From Debrecen, Smartwings Hungary will offer a weekly service to Barcelona in Spain on Thursdays from June to September. The airline will also connect Debrecen with Tirana in Albania every Monday during the same period. These new routes will provide Hungarian travelers with more holiday and city-break destinations, while also enhancing the international connectivity of both Budapest and Debrecen airports.
