
Snowstorm Alert: Schools Closed in Provinces Across Turkey on 27 February

Severe Weather Conditions Cause School Closures in Trabzon
Due to adverse weather conditions, schools in several districts of Trabzon were interrupted on Thursday, February 27. The affected districts include AssociationPazarı, Düzköy, Hayrat, Köprübaşı, Sürmene, and Tonya.
In the district of Araklı, Yeşilyurt, Çankaya, Erenler, Taştepe, Değirmencik, Muhittin Öztürk Saffet Çebi, and Yeşilce Elementary School/Secondary School all suspended transportation and education.
Additionally, in Çaykara district, Karaçam, Taşkıran, and Uzungöl, all primary and secondary schools were closed. In Yomra district, schools in Çamlıyurt, Maden, Ogmalı, Özdil, and Kömürcü neighborhoods also experienced interruptions in primary, secondary, and high school education.
Furthermore, schools such as Işıklar Orta Mahalle Primary School/Secondary School, Işıklar Primary School/Secondary School, Işıklar Multi-Program High School, Akpınar Secondary School, Erikli Primary School, Hakkı Altıntaş Secondary School, Mecit Pirhasan Primary School, Aydın Primary School, Ağaçlı Middle School, Hasan Saka Primary School/Secondary School, Kaleönü Murat Köse Primary School/Secondary School, Akçaköy Primary School/Secondary School, Derecik Primary School/Secondary School, and Derec Anatolian High School also experienced transportation disruptions.
