Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya Mourns the Loss of Gendarmerie Chief Warrant Officer Senior Sergeant Muhammet Kalaz
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya expressed his condolences for the loss of Gendarmerie Chief Warrant Officer Senior Sergeant Muhammet Kalaz, who tragically passed away while on duty in the base area in Şırnak province. The senior sergeant fell ill during a search and screening operation, and despite all efforts to save him, he unfortunately lost his life and became a martyr.
In his message shared on social media, Minister Yerlikaya stated, “I wish God’s mercy on our heroic Gendarmerie and offer my condolences to his grieving family, our Gendarmerie Organization, and our nation. May he be exalted.”
