Son Murders Mother and Conceals Body in Wardrobe: Chilling Confession.
Police in Alanya, Turkey, have arrested a man who admitted to killing his mother and hiding her body in a closet. Neighbors had alerted the police after not hearing from Fatma Sevinç for several days, and officers discovered her lifeless body wrapped in a sheet in her apartment. Süleyman Sevinç, the victim’s son, had not been seen since the neighbors reported the case and was being sought for questioning. He was apprehended by police on Antalya Ataturk Street and confessed to the stabbing. Süleyman Sevinç told police that he had had a number of arguments with his mother over the years because she was constantly speaking rudely about his previous wives and was against his choice of partner. He said that arguments had escalated in the days leading up to the killing, and that his mother had slapped him in the face and bitten his hand, causing him to lose consciousness. Afterward, he put her body in a closet in his apartment and covered it with a blanket. Police arrested him on the spot and he was brought to court, where he was remanded in custody.
