Spain’s Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause
Minister Fidan Appreciates Spain’s Support for the Palestinian Cause
Minister Fidan recently took to social media to express gratitude for Spain’s support for the Palestinian cause. The Minister highlighted the importance of a two-state solution during a meeting with representatives from various countries in Madrid.
The meeting, hosted by Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, saw discussions with representatives from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League Contact Group countries, as well as Spain, Slovenia, Norway, Ireland, and the European Union (EU). Minister Fidan noted that support for the two-state solution is on the rise, with more European countries recognizing Palestine and showing readiness to intervene in the case at the International Court of Justice.
Minister Fidan also emphasized that the current situation, where Israel receives unconditional support from the US without facing any consequences, has led to the collapse of the international system. Western countries are beginning to understand the imbalance and injustice in the region.
Highlighting the shift in global perception towards the Palestinian issue, Minister Fidan stated that a two-state solution offers a historic opportunity for peace and security in the region. He urged Israel to seize this chance before it’s too late, emphasizing the importance of both Palestine and Israel coexisting peacefully.
As the international community continues to advocate for a just resolution to the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Minister Fidan’s words serve as a reminder of the hope for a peaceful and stable future for all parties involved.
