Spanish Ambassador Presents Credentials to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ambassador of Spain to Turkmenistan, Ricardo Martinez Vazquez, recently presented copies of his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan during a working visit of Spanish business delegates to the country.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Gurbanov congratulated Ambassador Vazquez on his new role and assured him of Turkmenistan’s support in his diplomatic efforts. The officials discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation and explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as agriculture, water management, transport, logistics, and cultural exchanges.

Both parties emphasized the significance of strengthening ties in key sectors and agreed to work towards expanding partnership initiatives. Ambassador Vazquez expressed his commitment to enhancing relations between Spain and Turkmenistan.

During the visit, the Spanish delegation, consisting of representatives from 18 companies including Ibertest, Nobargi, Talgo, Sercobe, INDRA, AGRAGEX, and Teltronic, is set to engage with leaders from around 10 ministries and departments in Turkmenistan. The visit aims to foster closer economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
