Specialized Sub-Branch Arrangements
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca visited Bolu city to discuss various health care initiatives and developments in the region. During his visit, Minister Koca met with local shopkeepers, greeted citizens, and requested support for the AK Party Bolu Mayor candidate, Muhammed Emin Demirkol, in the upcoming local elections. He also visited AK Nokta in Government Square to review ongoing projects and met with Governor Erkan Kılıç at the Governorship.
Minister Koca then visited Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital, where he commended the staff and discussed the need for expanded healthcare facilities in the region. He mentioned that a new 250-bed Physical Therapy Hospital and a Maternity and Children’s Hospital are currently under construction to meet the increasing healthcare demands in Bolu.
Furthermore, Minister Koca addressed the issue of sub-branch specialization in healthcare, mentioning recent regulatory changes to streamline the training process for medical professionals. He emphasized the importance of allowing specialists to start their sub-branch specialization without waiting to complete compulsory service requirements.
In addition, Minister Koca highlighted the need for a PET-CT scan machine in Bolu to accommodate the high number of patients visiting the city for medical services. He mentioned plans to acquire a PET-CT machine through government means to ensure faster access to this essential diagnostic tool in the region.
