Sports and Environment Initiative by Gönyeli-Alayköy Municipality-BRTK
Gönyeli-Alayköy Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu is spearheading several development projects throughout the city, with a focus on sports facilities and landscaping. The mayor highlighted the importance of these ongoing projects in enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.
One of the key initiatives mentioned by Mayor Amcaoğlu is the transformation of the Alayköy Football Field into a modern sports facility that can be utilized by all members of the community. This includes the addition of a basketball court and a hiking trail, aimed at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among residents.
“We are dedicated to creating a sports facility that will cater to the diverse needs of our community, with features such as the Alayköy Football Field-NI hiking trail and basketball court,” stated Mayor Amcaoğlu. The construction of a 450-meter synthetic grass hiking trail is currently underway, along with other landscaping efforts in Yilmazkoy.
