SPTA and USAID Sign MOU
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding, marking a significant milestone in their collaboration.
Dovran Hudayberdiyev, the Chairman of the Joint Venture, and Nino Nadiradze, the representative of USAID in Turkmenistan, inked the agreement. This memorandum will serve as the basis for stronger cooperation between the two entities, with the aim of boosting the export of goods and services from the private sector. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the investment environment in Turkmenistan.
The memorandum also highlights the commitment of USAID to support the advancement of economic opportunities for women and youth. It further aims to promote the utilization of digital technologies, e-commerce, and innovative solutions in the business sector of Turkmenistan.
