Zerrin Üstel Attends Annual Dental Screening Event
Zerrin Üstel, the wife of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, recently attended the annual dental screening event organized by the Basic Health Services Department of the Ministry of Health. The event took place at the Ziyamet Special Education and Job Training School and Ötüken Special Education and Job Training Schools, with the aim of early diagnosis and preventive health.
During the event, Zerrin Üstel distributed toothpaste and toothbrushes to children in an effort to increase their dental health awareness. She also delivered a short speech emphasizing the importance of health services for children, particularly those with special needs. Üstel highlighted the importance of equal inclusion of special needs children in society and commended the special education teachers who provide dedicated and responsible service to these children.
In addition, Üstel expressed gratitude to the special teachers and all administrators and instructors working in exponential schools for their efforts in ensuring that children with special needs receive the education they deserve. She recognized the teachers’ extraordinary efforts and commitment, stating that they are as special as the students they serve.
Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek’s wife, Sibel Dinçyürek, also accompanied Zerrin Üstel at the event. The presence of these influential figures demonstrates the commitment of the government to advocating for the health and education of all children, particularly those with special needs.
