Stray Dogs Attack and Hospitalize 2 Children in Bursa

Three stray dogs attacked three children playing on Yeniler Street in Yunuseli District, causing panic and injuries. The incident occurred when one of the children ran away from the scene, while the other fell and was injured during the attack. Fortunately, their quick-thinking friend managed to save the falling child by pulling him away from the dogs.
A concerned citizen who heard the children’s cries attempted to chase the dogs away, but it wasn’t until the police and 112 Emergency Service teams arrived on the scene that the situation was brought under control. The two injured children were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment, while the police apprehended the stray dogs and secured them at an empty construction site.
The municipality teams were then notified and the dogs were handed over to the employees of the municipality’s Veterinary Affairs Directorate for further action. Such incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and the need to address the issue of stray animals in urban areas to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
