Famagusta State Hospital Ends Warning Strike
The warning strike at Famagusta State Hospital with polyclinic and laboratories, organized by Kamu-Sen and Kamu-İş, was lifted yesterday. The President of Kamu-Sen, Metin Atan, took steps to address the shortage of personnel at the hospital by sending two nurses and a midwife from the Turkish Agency Cyprus (TAK).
Atan highlighted the need for two additional labs in the laboratory and stated that they have given authorities until April 30 to address this demand. The decision to end the warning strike comes after negotiations and discussions between the union representatives and hospital management.
The resolution of this issue is expected to improve the overall working conditions and efficiency at Famagusta State Hospital, ensuring better healthcare services for the community. This development showcases the importance of constructive dialogue and collaboration between stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
