Students from “Dovetliler School” Explore Ashgabat Botanical Garden
During the winter holidays, students from “Döwletliler köşgi” in Ashgabat had the opportunity to visit the Botanical Garden. This visit was organized by specialists, researchers, and lecturers from the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov. The students were given a tour of the garden where they learned about the different trees, flowers, and plants that have been brought to Turkmenistan from other countries and successfully adapted to the local soil and climate.
One of the highlights of the visit was the presentation of the research project “Ornithofauna and Ecology of the Botanical Garden”, which provided valuable insights into the bird species and ecological aspects of the garden.
The students were particularly fascinated by the exotic plants, such as ficuses, palms, and banana trees grown in the greenhouses. Their enthusiasm was evident as they expressed a strong desire to visit the Botanical Garden again in the future.
Overall, the visit to the Botanical Garden was not only educational but also inspiring for the young visitors. It opened their eyes to the beauty and diversity of plant life and left them with a greater appreciation for nature.
