Successful Inaugural Kaleburnu Culture and Art Event Celebrated at BRTK
The first Culture and Art Event in Kaleburnu Village was a great success this year, showcasing the historical and cultural richness of the area. The event, held at Kaleburnu Wedding Hall, was attended by local officials and participants from various regions.
Kaleburnu headman Halil Yeşilbulut expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the event and emphasized the importance of organizing cultural and artistic events in the Karpaz region. Erenköy-Karpaz Mayor Hamit Bakırcı also praised the event and announced plans to expand it in the coming years.
The highlight of the event was the XIth International Folk Dance Peace Festival, organized by the Cyprus Folk Dance and Art Center Association. Folk dance teams from various regions, including Yenierenköy, Bolu, Bursa, Lithuania, and Macedonia, showcased their traditional dances, delighting the audience with their performances.
Adding to the festivities, the popular group Grup Otantik gave a concert, bringing lively music and entertainment to the 1st Kaleburnu Culture and Art Event. The event was a wonderful celebration of culture, art, and community spirit, showcasing the vibrant traditions of Kaleburnu Village and the surrounding region.
