Sudden Rise of Water Leaves Two Stranded in Terrifying Moment
Two people who went for a picnic along Başur Stream in Yağmurtepe village, Sütlüce hamlet found themselves stranded on an islet formed by the rise of the water. The incident occurred in the evening hours. The local authorities were quick to respond to the situation and firefighters and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The firefighters built a bridge over the water by leaning a ladder across the water to help the trapped individuals cross the stream safely. The two individuals were able to use the ladder to make their way across the water and safely reach the other side.
