Motorcycle Accident on D-400 Highway Claims Life of Şener Tunç
An unfortunate accident occurred today at the Gazipaşa Bridge in Turkey. According to the reports, Şener Tunç, who was traveling from Gazipaşa towards Anamur, met with a fatal accident on his motorcycle with the number plate 07 UC 756. Allegedly, another vehicle hit the motorcycle, but the license plate and driver details are yet to be determined. Sadly, the accident led to the death of Şener Tunç on the spot.
The witnesses immediately informed the 112 Emergency Call Center, and as soon as the authorities responded, the health and police teams were dispatched to the accident site. However, the medical teams confirmed that Şener Tunç had already passed away.
His lifeless body was shifted to the funeral vehicle and taken to the morgue of Gazipaşa State Hospital. Şener Tunç’s relatives, who arrived at the scene, were utterly heartbroken. One of Tunç’s relatives had even chatted with him just ten minutes before the accident, adding to the unbearable grief.
The police have initiated an investigation into the accident and started searching for the driver who fled the site. These sorts of accidents are prevalent on the D-400 Highway, especially during the holiday season, and drivers must take extra precautions while driving to avoid such tragic incidents.
