Minister Kasapoğlu Shows Support for Farmers Affected by Agricultural Frost
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Kasapoğlu, expressed his solidarity with farmers and producers who have been affected by the recent agricultural frost across the country. In a statement, he acknowledged the challenges faced by farmers in Bayındır, Izmir, one of the most fertile areas in the region.
“We are with our laborers on a difficult day,” Kasapoğlu stated, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting farmers during this challenging time. He recognized the impact of agricultural disasters on production and assured that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is providing assistance to affected farmers.
Kasapoğlu also highlighted the financial support available to farmers through insurance packages and premium supports provided by the Ministry. He mentioned that the government is committed to covering the damage costs for registered producers affected by the frost.
“We see agriculture as a key to prosperity in Turkey,” Kasapoğlu reiterated, emphasizing the importance of agriculture as a vital economic activity.
