Support for Palestine: Protest at Free University Berlin

Students at a university in Germany have taken a stand in solidarity with Palestine by setting up a camp in the inner garden of the campus known as “Theaterhof”. Approximately 150 students gathered for a demonstration at the camp, where they chanted slogans such as “We are thousands, millions, we are all Palestinians”, “Freedom for Palestine”, “All eyes are on Welfare”, “Israel is a terrorist state”, and “Shame on Germany”.
The students are calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza, urging Germany to stop providing arms aid to Israel, and insisting that Palestine supporters not be persecuted in Germany. The camp has drawn the attention of authorities, with a significant police presence surrounding the area.
The solidarity camp is a show of support and unity for the people of Palestine in the face of ongoing conflict and human rights abuses. The students are using their voices to advocate for justice and peace in the region, and their activism is a demonstration of the power of solidarity and activism in the face of injustice. The students hope to raise awareness and garner support for the Palestinian cause, even in the face of opposition and adversity.
