A woman identified only as FO has come forward to speak about her harrowing ordeal at the hands of her former lover, İlyas Sarıkaya. I waited until it got dark, hoping the police would arrive. I was trying to survive for the sake of my daughter.”
Despite her injuries and the trauma she experienced, FO managed to send a message to Sarıkaya’s mother while he was asleep, eventually leading to her rescue and medical treatment.
