New Love Houses Project for Children in Cyprus
A new initiative called the “Tangül Ünal Çağıner Foundation Love Houses” project has been launched in Haspolat, Cyprus. This project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children’s Aid Foundation, with the aim of providing loving and compassionate homes for children under state protection.
The opening ceremony of this project was attended by Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, along with other government officials and representatives from the foundation. In her speech, Minister Göktaş expressed her support for the project and emphasized the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tangül Ünal Çağıner Children’s Aid Foundation, İçim Çağıner Kavuklu, highlighted the foundation’s commitment to helping children and explained that the love houses project is a significant milestone in their efforts. He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for their partnership in making this project a reality.
Minister of Labor and Social Security, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, also praised the project as a flagship initiative of the ministry’s social services programs. He mentioned other projects aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, such as rehabilitation centers and barrier-free living houses.
In addition to the love houses project, Minister Gardiyanoğlu announced plans for an autism center for autistic children in the country. This demonstrates the government’s dedication to providing comprehensive support for children with special needs.
The opening of the “Tangül Ünal Çağıner Foundation Love Houses” project was a momentous occasion, marking a new chapter in the efforts to improve the lives of children in Cyprus.
