Tanju Özcan vehemently criticizes Kılıçdaroğlu, accusing him of impoverishment
In a recent Twitter post, Tanju Özcan expressed his disappointment and frustration with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the Republican People’s Party in Turkey. Özcan accused Kılıçdaroğlu of lying and lacking integrity, and called for him to step down from his position.
Özcan criticized Kılıçdaroğlu for claiming that the recent election results were not a defeat but a failure. He also accused Kılıçdaroğlu of manipulating the party’s Youth Council (YDK) for personal gain, and highlighted the lack of democracy within the party.
Furthermore, Özcan questioned Kılıçdaroğlu’s age and his prolonged stay in leadership, suggesting that it was time for him to make way for new leadership. Özcan expressed his frustration with Kılıçdaroğlu’s alleged lies and emphasized that he had no fear of the party leader.
Özcan challenged Kılıçdaroğlu to address the validity of a protocol he signed with Ümit Özdağ, and demanded an honest answer. He warned that if Kılıçdaroğlu denied making a certain speech, Özcan would quit politics if asked about it in court.
Özcan also criticized Kılıçdaroğlu’s claims of courage, particularly in relation to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He accused Kılıçdaroğlu of lacking sincerity and challenged him to a public debate on any channel with the presence of journalists.
Despite his strong words, Özcan expressed his disappointment that Kılıçdaroğlu had refused to grant him an appointment for the past 1.5 years.
