Tatar Congratulates EMU ASHINA Team for Teknofest Win
EMU ASHINA Team Celebrated for Winning Teknofest Competition
The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) recently hosted a reception to celebrate the success of the EMU ASHINA team, who came first in the “Flying Car Simulation Competition” at Teknofest, Turkey’s largest technology festival. EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and EMU Foundation Board of Directors President Dr. Ersin Tatar received Erdal Özcenk and congratulated the team on their achievement.
President Tatar highlighted EMU’s commitment to providing international quality education and praised the university for being a pioneer in the field. He emphasized the importance of the scientific research conducted at EMU and expressed his pride in the ASHINA team for their outstanding performance in the competition.
During the reception, President Tatar had a phone conversation with the members of the ASHINA team, including students Furkan Batı, Deniz Demir, and Cemre Yeşil from the Engineering Faculty. He congratulated the students on their success, commended them for their hard work, and wished them continued success in their future endeavors.
The reception was attended by President Ersin Tatar and Presidential Political Affairs Advisor, Anıl Kaya, who is also a member of the EMU Foundation Board of Directors.
