TC Bar Association’s BRTK Event: Combating Violence Against Women
The Turkish Cypriot Bar Association continues its efforts in combating violence against women and providing legal support to those in need. The fourth installment of their “Combating Violence Against Women and Legal Support Mechanism Information Meetings” will take place in Yenierenköy tomorrow.
Scheduled to be held in collaboration with the Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality, the event will kick off at 18.00 at the Erdoğan Hoşsöz Culture Palace. The panel will feature the expertise of lawyers Çise Atlas and Hanife Demir, who will shed light on legal support mechanisms available to those affected by gender-based violence.
Participants at the meeting will have the opportunity to interact with lawyers from the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association Human Rights Committee, who are well-versed in providing legal aid to those in need. The information sessions are open to anyone interested in learning more about this crucial issue.
