“TCG Anadolu generates buzz as citizens visit Izmir Port”
Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu recently visited the TCG Anadolu warship and witnessed the strength of the Turkish Armed Forces up close. During his visit, he expressed his gratitude to the heroic soldiers and praised their sacrifices, courage and determination in making Turkey always have a strong defense force.
The Turkish Naval Forces demonstrated their advanced technological infrastructure, trained personnel and modern equipment which showcased the high defense power of the country. Minister Kasapoğlu remarked that it was an honor to witness the capabilities of the Anadolu that will inspire future generations and encourage them to work towards a stronger Turkey.
Meanwhile, the world’s third-largest attack helicopter, Atak-2, successfully passed its test flight and will enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces by 2025. The Atak-2 will also be used by Turkish frigates in the Mediterranean. This new addition to the Turkish defense arsenal will further strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and deter any potential threats to its sovereignty.
