TCG Kınalıada Makes Port Call in Jeddah
The Turkish naval ship, TCG Kınalıada, recently made a visit to the port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia as part of a special mission to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Turkey and Japan. The visit also coincided with the 134th anniversary of the Ertuğrul frigate’s voyage to Japan.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) made a post on their social media account detailing the visit, stating that TCG Kınalıada visited the port of Jeddah between April 13-15, 2024. During the visit, a reception was held on board the ship, which was hosted by the Riyadh Ambassador Emrullah İşler and the staff of TCG Kınalıada.
