Team Mobilization: City Center Bound
A group of wild horses from At Plateau, located around 10 kilometers from the center of Bolu, made their way into the city center recently. The horses descended from the forest area into the Kürkçüler District in search of food.
The hungry horses were found standing in the middle of the road, searching for food on the roadside. Eventually, they discovered silage packages in an empty land in Kürkçüler and feasted on the corn silage inside. The situation was reported to the Bolu Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate teams, who promptly arrived on the scene with sacks of hay and wheat to feed the starving horses.
The beautiful and unexpected sight of the horses wandering the city streets drew a lot of attention from the locals. Concerned citizens and animal lovers joined the efforts to help the horses find sustenance and prevent any potential accidents with traffic.
Overall, it was a heartwarming experience of unity and compassion as the community came together to aid these wild horses that ventured into the urban area. Hopefully, circumstances will improve for these magnificent creatures and they will return safely to their natural habitat in the near future.
