Teenager Arrested in Connection with Bomb Threats in Hungarian Malls and Schools

Authorities in Hungary recently responded to bomb threats at two local malls, the Vértes Center in Tatabánya and the Balaton Pláza in Veszprém. Fortunately, no explosives were found in either building, and the threats appear to be unrelated to the recent wave of school bomb threats that have been plaguing the country.
In Tatabánya, an unknown person alerted the police about a bomb in the Mértes center, prompting authorities to evacuate the mall and conduct a thorough examination. Despite the scare, it was determined that this incident was not connected to the school bomb threats that have been occurring over the past two weeks.
Similarly, the Lake Balaton mall in Veszprém also received a bomb threat, but upon investigation, no explosives were found on the premises. This pattern of threats without actual explosives has been a recurring issue, with multiple schools receiving similar threats in recent weeks.
On a positive note, authorities were able to apprehend a Hungarian teenager responsible for the latest school bomb threat wave. The 15-year-old boy admitted to sending threatening emails to 46 schools in an attempt to scare students away. Thankfully, no explosive devices were found in the schools targeted by the threats.
It is important to remain vigilant in the face of such threats and to work together to ensure the safety and security of all individuals in the community.
