Teknofest Boosts Country’s Promotion – BRTK
President Ersin Tatar is gearing up for the exciting Aviation, Space and Technology Festival “Teknofest” set to take place at the former Terminal Building of Ercan Airport in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The festival, scheduled from May 1-4 and held under the auspices of the TRNC Presidency, promises to be a dynamic event showcasing the latest in technology and innovation.
In a statement, President Tatar expressed his enthusiasm for hosting Teknofest in Northern Cyprus, highlighting the inspiration and motivation it will bring to Turkish Cypriots. He emphasized that the festival will not only support the national cause of the Turkish Cypriot people but also contribute to the country’s overall promotion.
President Tatar praised Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation, for his role in organizing the festival and thanked him for his support. He also noted the significant developments in the national defense industry of Turkey, emphasizing the importance of technological advancements in the region.

Teknofest will feature hundreds of projects from Turkey and various countries, with approximately 150 projects representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. President Tatar emphasized the festival’s significance in motivating young people, fostering innovation, and driving progress in technology, digitalization, and software development.
President Tatar also highlighted the educational benefits of Teknofest, positioning Northern Cyprus as a hub for technological studies. He emphasized that the festival will attract technology and software companies to the country, contributing to economic growth, employment, and overall development.
