Tekofest TRNC: A Celebration of Aviation, Space, and Technology
Starting tomorrow, the Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival, known as Tekofest TRNC, will open its doors to visitors at Eski Ercan Airport at noon. This exciting event promises a variety of activities for individuals of all ages, showcasing the latest advancements in technology and innovation.
Organized under the auspices of the Presidency and in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Technology Team of the Republic of Turkey, Tekofest will run through Sunday, inviting locals and tourists alike to engage in a multitude of festivities.
A special highlight of the festival will be the visit from the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is anticipated to tour the festival area on Saturday.
Visitors to Tekofest can look forward to a vibrant lineup of activities that include thrilling air shows, live concerts, interactive exhibitions, and workshops. For those keen on science and technology, there will be simulation experience areas and a planetarium, as well as fair events and special flight activities specifically designed for students.
The festival will feature six main categories and 13 sub-categories, covering a broad spectrum of interests in the fields of aviation and technology. Entry to all activities is free, allowing everyone to take part in this enriching experience.
