Terror and Corruption Uncovered in Istanbul: Mehmet Ali Çalışkan Captured
An investigation into corruption and terrorism has been launched in Istanbul, with seven suspects, including Ekrem Imamoglu, President of Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, Ekrem Imamoglu, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, being investigated for alleged links to the “PKK/KCK terrorist organization.”
In the course of the investigation, one of the suspects, Çalışkan, was apprehended in Istanbul. It was revealed that the suspect had no mobile phone when he was caught.
The suspect was taken to the Vatan Campus of the Istanbul Police Department for further proceedings.
