Terrorist Organization Continues to Dissolve: Another Member Surrenders
According to information from security sources, the disintegration process within the terrorist organization has accelerated, particularly as PYD/YPG has lost control in its areas in Syria.
An operation conducted by the Gendarmerie General Command Intelligence Directorate and Şanlıurfa Provincial Gendarmerie Command successfully convinced M.A., a member who joined the terrorist organization in 2018 and then moved to Syria in 2019, to surrender. M.A. was operating at a senior level in the Qamishli, Hasakah, and Aynularab regions.
After escaping from the terrorist organization, M.A. surrendered to the security forces at the border. It was revealed that the terrorist had been working on behalf of the organization in Hasakah and Qamishli, and had been sent to the Aynularab region in 2021 to train PYD/YPG terrorists in the tunnels and shelters used by the organization.
This successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and dismantle these organizations. The cooperation between security forces and intelligence agencies continues to be crucial in the fight against terrorism.
