Terrorist Trained in Suicide Bombing Caught in Manisa
A terrorist who had received training in suicide bombings within the terrorist organization DAESH has been caught in Manisa, Turkey. The individual, identified as a foreign national named AEH, was sentenced to 5 years and 10 months in prison.
The operation to apprehend AEH was carried out by the Anti-Terror Branch Directorate and Intelligence Branch Directorate of the Manisa Provincial Police Department. AEH, who was found guilty of being a member of an armed terrorist organization, was detained in Turgutlu.
According to reports, AEH had undergone training in suicide bombings while being involved with DAESH. After the arrest, he was taken to the courthouse for further proceedings.
This successful operation comes in the wake of another DAESH-related incident in Istanbul, where seven individuals were recently detained in a separate operation.
