The town of Diyarbakır in Turkey was rocked by the tragic discovery of the body of Narin Güran, who had been reported missing earlier. Diyarbakır Governor Murat Zorluoğlu made the announcement that Güran’s lifeless body was found on September 8th, in a sack on the bank of Eğertutmaz Creek. She was found covered with stones and her clothes still intact.
Zorluoğlu shared the grim details, revealing that it appeared Güran had been killed before being placed in the sack and brought to the creek. Her body was then submerged in the water with the sack still on the bank, before being camouflaged with tree branches and stones to give a natural appearance and prevent suspicion.
