Woman with Psychological Issues Threatens Pharmacy Assistant with Knife
An alarming incident unfolded at a pharmacy located on Adnan Menderes Boulevard in Güzelhisar Neighborhood. Reports indicate that a woman identified only as FD, who is believed to have psychological problems, entered the pharmacy and began putting creams and medicines into her bag without paying.
The situation escalated when the pharmacist’s assistant confronted FD about the stolen items. In a shocking turn of events, the woman allegedly brandished a knife and threatened the assistant before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement authorities were promptly informed, and police teams launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect.
After a brief pursuit, the police managed to intercept FD a few blocks away from the pharmacy. Despite numerous attempts to reason with her, the woman adamantly resisted the authorities’ efforts to calm her down. The standoff continued for some time, showcasing the woman’s unpredictable behavior.
