The Grisly Discovery: Killer Butchered Bodies into 160 Pieces

Butchering Killer, a Former Butcher, Divided Bodies into 160 Pieces
New details have emerged in a gruesome murder case in Izmir, Turkey, where four foreign nationals were killed and their bodies were found in refrigerators and freezers. The suspect, Saparmurat Haliyev, who is originally from Turkmenistan, was a former butcher. Haliyev, who had been working in construction for the past two years, committed the murders on June 13. Shockingly, it was revealed that he divided the bodies into 160 pieces.
The Izmir Police Department’s Public Security Branch Murder Bureau teams quickly identified Haliyev as a suspect after receiving a notification on June 18 at 11:00 am. The teams examined security camera footage in the surrounding area and interviewed residents. Through these statements, they learned that Haliyev had asked for an address to purchase a deep freezer. Based on the camera records, they traced his steps to a shop where he bought the freezer. They also discovered that he had collected the mobile phones of the victims and sold them to a telephone shop.
After thorough investigations, the Murder Bureau teams narrowed down their search to a construction site in the Çeşme district. They waited for around 30 hours until Haliyev arrived, and then they detained him. During his arrest, Haliyev handed over the weapon used in the crimes.
In his initial statement to the police, Haliyev confessed that he committed the murders out of jealousy towards his lover, Gülkamar Hanimova. He revealed that he had killed the victims on June 13 before placing their bodies in the refrigerator and freezer. The police are continuing their investigation into the suspect’s motives and actions.
In a chilling revelation, it was discovered that Haliyev divided the four victims into a total of 160 pieces. Ruslan Kerimov, one of the victims, was divided into 60 parts, while the women were placed in the deep freezer and the man in the refrigerator. Thawing the women’s bodies took some time due to the deep freezer’s temperature. It is important to note that Haliyev’s previous occupation as a butcher likely contributed to this gruesome act.
The case came to light when Gülkamar Hanimova, her daughters Leyla Geldiyarova and Laçin Geldiyarova, and their relative Ruslan Kerimov were reported missing. The police entered their house on June 18 and discovered the four bodies in the deep freezer. The bodies were then taken to the morgue for autopsy. The identification of each body will rely on DNA testing due to the extensive dismemberment.
In response to the shocking murders, a special team was formed to apprehend the suspect, who is a national of Turkmenistan. Saparmurat Haliyev was captured and detained in the Çeşme district. He was found in possession of a knife, which he claimed to have used in the crimes. Haliyev confessed to the murders, citing jealousy as the motive.
The investigation into this horrific crime continues as authorities work to gather more evidence and piece together the events leading up to the murders.
