The Harassment: A Typical Incident in Esenyurt
A violent incident took place yesterday evening at a patisserie located in the Mehterçeşme neighborhood. It was reported that a group of friends who entered the patisserie were behaving abusively and disturbing other customers with their loud behavior. The owner of the business warned the group to stop, which led to an argument between them. Eventually, the group left the patisserie.
Later on, the group returned with more friends and launched an attack on the owner of the business. A physical altercation broke out between the owner and two friends against the group of attackers. After the scuffle, the attackers retreated from the scene. The injured owner sought medical attention at a hospital and then reported the incident to the police.
Describing the incident as “a completely typical Esenyurt incident,” the business owner, Civil Atmaca, stated, “A few troublemakers came here and caused trouble. My partner tried to calm the situation as our customers were disturbed by their behavior. They left angrily, but returned with a larger group. Fortunately, our friends came to our aid.”
The authorities are now investigating the incident further to bring the perpetrators to justice.
