“The Hu” Band to Perform Full Live Concert at Naadam Festival in Mongolia
Mongolia’s renowned “The Hu” band, founders of the unique “Hunnu rock” genre, are set to make history by performing a full live concert at the prestigious Naadam Festival for the first time in the country. The highly anticipated concert will take place on July 10 at the iconic “Hit park Ulaanbaatar.” Following this momentous event, the band will also rock the stage with a full concert at “Ara fest 2024” in Arkhangai province on July 20.
Formed in 2016, “The Hu” band quickly gained international acclaim for their distinctive sound and powerful performances. Their meteoric rise led to them being honored with the first-class Genghis Khan Order, the highest award bestowed by the Mongolian state, on November 27, 2019. This award holds significant prestige as it has been granted since 2005, showcasing the band’s exceptional talent and influence in the music industry.
Dashdondog.B, the producer behind “The Hu” band and the creative force behind their unique Hunnu rock style, was also recently awarded the Genghis Khan Order this year, further solidifying the band’s status as cultural icons in Mongolia.
