
The Martyr’s Fire: Turkey’s Burning Heart

The Turkish military is mourning the loss of six soldiers after they were martyred in clashes that took place in the Operation Claw-Lock region of northern Iraq. In addition to the six soldiers who lost their lives, another soldier was injured in the conflict that broke out with terrorists trying to infiltrate the military base area.
The devastating news of the martyrdom of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Ahmet Arslan (25) reached his father’s home in Sorgun district of Yozgat. He was married and had a child. The home of the fallen soldier was adorned with Turkish flags.
Similarly, Infantry Contract Private Kemal Aslan (22) was also martyred in the conflict with terrorists in the Operation Claw-Lock region. His family was informed of his martyrdom by the authorities accompanied by medical teams and his home was also decorated with Turkish flags. The father of the martyr said, “How happy I am that my son was martyred.”
Lastly, the family of Infantry Contract Private Enes Budak (22) was informed of his martyrdom in the north of Iraq, where he was in a conflict with PKK terrorists. The martyr was single and had 6 siblings, and his mother İkram Budak passed away 2 years ago. His family received the news with great sadness, and a giant Turkish flag was hung on the street where the house of the martyr’s family is located.
It was learned that Martyr Enes Budak was single and had 6 siblings, and his mother İkram Budak passed away 2 years ago. Additionally, Martyr Infantry Contracted Private Enes Budak’s last post on social media once again revealed his heroism. He shared his photos by writing, “On the mountain of courage, the wind of fear does not blow, living like lions.”
As the nation mourns the loss of these brave soldiers, President Erdoğan has made it clear that the fight against terrorism will continue with determination. The Turkish military is committed to eliminating terrorism at its source and will not be deterred by these acts of terror. The sacrifices made by these brave soldiers will forever be remembered and honored by the Turkish people.
